when i were in school there lots of story about people make money by ads and blogs.

i got fomo then i try blogging in Wordpress and blogger. ofc i didnt make any money, no visitor because i only write for myself.

in univ, i see courses Operating System for Information System that push CS student to use jekyll for blogging / personal web page. i got FOMO too so i migrate from wordpress/blogger to jekyll with Chirphy theme.

it looks good but i still lazy to write, even so, its bloated with my writing. it takes longer to build then i migrate to Hugo Golang using PaperMod theme.

and then i found the concept of Zettelkasten late when i was in bench in my current office. because of it i try install Foam vscode extensions. its nice to see the graph of all the info i hoarded.

then i got Obsidian, then deploy it using this quartz.

why i prefer Digital Garden than blogging? blog is too formal. i hate rules, i hate grammar. and Zettelkasten provide some rules and framework, but i dont follow it, i just do what i do. write something, try to link, then i can revisit it later. i dont know the value, but it help me a little bit in term of motivation, even nothing can replace learning process by writing with pen.

and currently i dont know whether i should fix grammar for all my writing, or just keep this as it is. its wasting time i guess to fix grammar, and with AI, im afraid it will change the structure and replace inappropriate word because theyre woke af.
